Week 3 Worklog

Week 3 Objectives:

  • Master AWS Compute Services, focusing on EC2 architecture and lifecycle.
  • Understand EC2 in depth: Instance types, AMI, EBS, Instance Store, User Data, Metadata, Autoscaling.
  • Explore extended compute services: EFS, FSx, Lightsail, MGN.
  • Practice AWS Backup end-to-end: configuring backup plan, restoring resources, and performing cleanup.
  • Work with Amazon S3 from basic to advanced: Static website hosting, Public Access Block, Object permissions, Versioning, CloudFront CDN integration.
  • Gain hands-on experience with Storage Gateway for hybrid infrastructure.
